What is traditional monogram format for girls?A monogram for a girl should include her first, middle and last initial. Traditionally, a girl's monogram is presented in first, last, middle initial order. So for Emma Marie Peters her monogram would be as follows: ePm Although tradition dictates the above, Jack and Emma say "you do you!" What is traditional monogram format for boys?When monogramming something for a boy, it is correct to put a boy's last initial in the middle. This format is appropriate with a larger letter for the last name in center. For Jack Ryan Peters that would be: jPr Although tradition dictates the above, Jack and Emma say "you do you!" How long will it take to receive my order?We ask that you allow up to two-three weeks for your monogrammed item to be shipped; however, it usually takes less than this. Certain items are ordered only after a customer puchases, so in these instances the product must first ship to us before it can be monogrammed and then shipped to you. If you have a specific timeline, please contact us before placing your order to ensure we can accomodate your needs. Once your item is monogrammed, it will be shipped to you; shipping times depend on the shipping option selected while checking out (first class mail is typically 3-4 business days).

Where do you source your blanks?At Jack and Emma Embroidery, we make everyday clothes cuter with a monogram! Our clothes are sourced from a variety of wholesale and retail locations. These may include Love That Cotton, Bayou Blanks, Old Navy, GAP, among many others. If you have a question about a specific item, or need a size chart, please let us know and we are happy to provide.

How do I care for my monogram?Hand-washing and hang-drying are your best and gentlest options... but who has time for that?! When machine washing embroidered clothing, turn the garments inside out to protect the embroidery from snagging. To avoid shrinking the garment (which may cause the embroidered monogram to pucker), wash the fabric as gently as possible, in cold water, and dry on low heat. If pressing the embroidered item, either use a pressing cloth over the embroidery, or iron on the back. Don't let the iron touch the embroidery directly.

Will my monogram look the same as the picture?Your monogram may look slightly different than the example item. For example, the photographed example monogram may be on a size 3 month bubble; as such, the monogram on your 18 month bubble may appear a bit smaller (as the monogram is being embroidered on a larger item). Also, the monogram may look slightly different depending on the letters used within the monogram. For example, an “m” is wider than a “i”. If you have a specific request regarding size or formatting of a monogram, please contact us before purchase.

May I make any changes to my order after I have checked out?Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes once an order has been started. If you would like to make a change to the monogram and the item has not yet been started, we are happy to make an adjustment. If you would like to make a change to an address and the item has not yet been shipped, please contact us and we will make an adjustment. If the item has already shipped, we are unable to make any adjustments. Due to the custom nature of the product, all sales are final, so please double check your order before you check out.

What is your return or exchange policy?Personalized items are not refundable due to the highly customized nature of the product. We will accept returns on personalized clothing if we made an error in the customization of your product. We are not responsible for any typographical errors entered at the time of purchase.
